Dante is an illustrator based in London, originally from Genoa but raised in Sardinia. Eager to experience the world beyond their island, they’ve lived across Europe, from Rome to Istanbul, and eventually settled in London. While their heart has always been in art and illustration, Dante’s academic background is rooted in the Japanese language, culture, and International Relations, which has broadened their artistic perspective.

Their illustration style blends comic book influences with realism, creating a unique mix that attempts to capture the complexity of human expressions. Primarily working in black and white, Dante occasionally adds colours to emphasize emotion.

Dante’s adaptable approach allows them to tailor commissions to reflect the client’s mood and vision. While most of their works are digital, they love exploring different mediums to enhance their creative output.

In January 2024, Dante founded the ‘Sketchy Art Society‘, a monthly meet-up for artists in London. Hosted at Market Hall, Oxford Circus, this gathering fosters creativity, collaboration, and networking among fellow creatives.
